This yoga video is for the calves. It is a 10-minute yoga routine that will assist you with loosening up tight calf muscles. You may need to grab a strap & a tennis ball or yoga tune-up ball for this practice. The entire practice is going to show you how to overcome the tightness in the backs of your legs! You will do poses that will stretch out the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles in the calves.
It will honor our need to stretch and work on breaking up the fascia. The fascia is sticky and can actually work to bind the muscles of the body together. The sequence is going to show you the hedonic point of stretching, which is the threshold of pleasure and pain.
This yoga sequence can be done by all levels, but if you are new to the practice feel free to modify the pose. ALWAYS listen to your body so you avoid injury! It is best to practice yoga often; even 10 minutes a day can help so much with flexibility and overall well-being. I recommend checking out these other videos that I have created!
